About me

My name is Anna LaSusa (she/her), I’m 27 years old and based out of Boulder, Colorado. I’m currently focused on dialing in my skills as an alpine guide with the intention of guiding and supporting scientific expeditions.

I place great importance on being a well-rounded athlete and enjoy structured training almost as much as playing in the mountains. I’m motivated by challenges and the sense of accomplishment that follows overcoming them. I strive to push myself to new limits and find importance in continuing to progress in personal and community development, physical strength, and technical skills.

In the last two years, I’ve done two expeditions in Alaska, a number of trips up the Grand Teton, and two seasons with the US Antarctic Program. I guide with multiple companies around the US, and recently returned back to school at University of Colorado Boulder to finish my degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, and to aid in environmental research in polar regions.
